foto 2021xii OACThe Citizen Information Office (Oficina d'Atenció al Ciutadà, OAC) will cease to require visitors to schedule an appointment during normal hours of operation, Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 2.00pm and Thursday afternoons from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Bartomeu Escandell, Councillor of Economy, Finance and General Services, described the move as "one step closer to normality, but we want to continue offering the possibility of booking appointments, which proved quite popular and saves provident visitors from having to wait".

The councillor remarked that the entire range of local government services can be accessed electronically on the Virtual Citizen Information Office (OVAC) and encouraged islanders to use "virtual channels that eliminate the need for in-person visits".
