Elena Vinyàrskaya presents "Terra i somni" at "Ajuntament Vell" exhibition space

The Formentera Office of Culture is pleased to report that from 17 to 28 May, the "Ajuntament Vell" gallery will host "Terra i somni", an exhibition from Elena Vinyàrskaya.

The title of the artistic project is a reference to Ibizan poet Marià Villangómez's first book, published in 1948. The pieces of the exhibition have their roots in the convergence of these two words.

The artist, who wanted to pay personal tribute to Villangómez on the twentieth anniversary of his death, intimately and subjectively interprets the master poet's work with drawing and watercolour. Through experimentation, Vinyàrskaya highlights a range of subtleties across the distinct pieces, where verses by Villangómez serve as the through line.

The exhibition opens at 7.00pm on Monday 16 May. "Ajuntament Vell" is open 11.00am to 2.00pm and 6.00pm to 8.00pm, Monday to Saturday.

The gallery is closed Sundays, holidays and Monday mornings.
